Drano Do’s and Do not’s

Do: use it to unclog your nasty drain
Do not: get it in your eyeball

Welcome to this Sunday’s post!
Yes, you read right, I got drano in my eye.

I really blame the maintenance staff for refusing to unclog our shower drain for MONTHS. But my own stupidity did land me in the only hospital that didn’t have a working eye flusher. Unfortunately for me, they instead settled for sticking a Morgan Lens in my eye, a device which is like a plastic contact attached to a saline drip. Thankfully I had Tyler with me because there was no way any nurse could have convinced me to do that on my own. As of now, I’m fine and so are my eyes!

On the bright side, my shower isn’t clogged anymore!

I also wanted to report on something a bit more fun. On Saturday Julian and I participated in a charity walk for breast cancer! Well.. Julian ran.. I walked. Nevertheless, I had a lovely time, and enjoyed being there with hundreds of people to support breast cancer awareness.

After the walk we decided to go to the Fall Botanical Garden Festival to enjoy some specialty treats and look at beautiful plants.
Julian got this passionfruit honey that is just to die for!

It was such an awesome way to spend my morning, especially since I had such a crazy week before.

That’s all from me today, I hope everyone had an amazing Sunday, and I’ll see you on the next post!
