Weekly update!
Hello friends and family! Glad to say I made it to my weekly update, even if just barely. This week has been incredibly busy, so apologies for not posting the anniversary trip. I finally have finished my work for the weekend, so without further ado: Here’s what happened this week!
After recovering from a losing fight with the freshman flu, I had lots to catch up on in terms of classwork. So.. I didn’t do it! I saved most of my work for today, which I spent four hours in the library completing. Funnily enough, the worst assignment wasn’t anything for microeconomics or computers in business, instead it was my new worst enemy, the all evil adobe photoshop.
Before I show you my absolute masterpiece, you have to understand that the assignment was to create something absolutely unrealistic.
Ta-da! This took me TWO HOURS. But I kinda love it.
On other news, my friend Lipi had his birthday this week! (happy late birthday lipi!)
We surprised him with a little cake and candles and had a wonderful night of playing games and just hanging out as a little family!
On another note about birthdays… happy early birthday to my awesome dad!! I love you so much and I can’t wait to see you this weekend!
Which brings me into my next little fun fact: I’m visiting home ! I am so excited, i’ve really missed my family and my cat.
My last little bit of news comes from a place of academic success.
I toured an advertising company this week! My program organized it for the kids in my academic pod so we would get to meet Troy Dunn of Dunn and Co. advertising, and learn about the aspects of managing and advertising from him and his management team! We even got fancy magnet pins to wear with our name and program on them.
The next tour I will (hopefully) be going on is none other than with JP Morgan, which I am extremely excited about as only 22 kids in the program will be able to join on a first come first serve basis. Me and my Suitemate Ari waited at our laptops for the sign up sheet, so we hopefully were able to secure our spots.
I had a great week, and hopefully this next one wont be all too busy. Stay posted for the anniversary pictures, I promise you they’re worth it!!
